A: An hourly transcription rate applies. No minimum fees, surcharges
for after hours requests, charges for sundries and/or incidentals,
and no charges for tape pick up and/or delivery.
Q: If I am contracted to you for 12 months,
and my circumstances necessitate a change, is eScribe
flexible?
A: YES. Flexibility
and
meeting client’s needs is what eScribe is all about.
Q: Can you guarantee that my correspondence
with you will remain totally confidential?
A: YES. An executed
Confidentiality Agreement will be
posted to you upon registration.
We guarantee it will be strictly
adhered
to and all information/knowledge/documentation
and the like given to eScribe will
remain strictly confidential.
Q: Is eScribe a
secure service for transcription?
A:
YES. Connections
for transcription data
are secured by SSL
connections to a
secure data
centre via the
internet. Any document
upload/download in those
sessions is encrypted
with 128 bits
encryption with individual
certificates assigned
to every document.
Passwords are issued
only to authorised
parties and security
roles are established
for authorised
users.
Q: How is work sent/received?
A:
Work can be sent and received via our FTP set-up, email, facsimile or post.
Q: What is your typical turnaround time and the
fastest turnaround offered if
my work is critically urgent?
A: Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours, as required. A RUSH
SERVICE is available for your urgent requests.
Q: How can we ensure that we can contact you
during business hours if my work is of an urgent nature?
A: Instant contact is available via our On Line Support service,
mobile, landline, facsimile and/or email transmission.

Can I use my
mobile or telephone
to dictate direct to eScribe?
A: Contact us to discuss your RUSH SERVICE requirements and if
required, one of our specialised team members will take dictation
directly from you via your telephone or mobile.
Q: I like to work from home.
How can eScribe help me?
A: YES. eScribe is an excellent solution for mobility. You are
not restricted to your office network. eScribe's customised software
can be installed on any number of PCs, including notebooks. For example, voice files can be uploaded 24/7 to our transcription data centre
using the Iinternet (local call cost).
Q: How long should you expect
your transcription to take?
A: It’s up to you. It all depends on the QUALITY of dictation
provided. The higher QUALITY dictation, not only lessens the time
to transcribe, and saves you money, it guarantees the return of

Generally, several short documents will take longer to transcribe
than one continuous document. Formatting requirements (headings,
lists, tables etc) also increase the time taken to produce documents.
Obscure or technical subject matter may take longer to transcribe
than straightforward matters.
